God Bless Everyone and Good Monday!
We live in a great time where information is at our fingertips and relationships are just a text a way. Yet, we find that there are many who are not connected to the truth and to a life changing experience.
Yesterday Pastor Sauni Jr. reminded us that Jesus is the Evangelist who interrupts our life, provides information, and leads to inspiration. The living water is not a temporary fix or an additive to our life, but a life changing way of life that leads to serving God and serving others.
COTR experienced a great ministry weekend in addition to Sunday services. Friday and Saturday the Community ministry prepared and distributed several food boxes touching those in need.
In addition, our girls program hosted a Tea on Saturday where fun and encouragement was provided.
Furthermore a few of us attended a Youth Leadership Summit and were reminded on the privilege we have to serve our youth culture.
Finally, Sunday Pastor Tino and Linda presented a workshop on the family in Spanish to the satisfaction of those attending. This is a great time to honor the Great Commandment and pursue the Cultural Commandment of loving others.
This week we look forward to another eventful time of community and Christianity. Tonight our Women host “Zumba” a fitness program for women and we continue our Financial Peace University Thursday at 7:00pm which is an opportunity for us to learn about God honoring and debt reducing stewardship, one tuition per family.
Sunday we continue our Journey with Jesus as we look at “Everywhere a Sign” from John 4-6. Services will conclude with communion. I encourage you to read John 5 & 6 in preparation. We are Redeeming the Community through Service and Love. We are Building Generations serving our Community.
Please keep Brother Bob Isaakson who is hospitalized in Kaiser Fontana room 2119 with knee issues.

God Bless Us Everyone,
In the words of Andrae Crouch, “I don’t know why Jesus loved me, I don’t know why he cares, I don’t know why he sacrificed his life, Oh but I’m glad, I’m glad he did.”
Sunday past, Pastor George in his expository sermon took us on a Journey with Jesus, the master teacher. We were reminded that Jesus answers our questions even at night and that we must be born again to experience life now and eternally, “For God so loved the world that he gave…”
This week we look forward to another eventful time of community and Christianity. Thursday we begin Financial Peace University at 7:00pm which is an opportunity for us to learn about God honoring and debt reducing stewardship, one tuition per family. Saturday features our Community Ministry as we distribute food baskets to those in need beginning at 7:00am. And, Sunday Pastor Tino (9:15) and Pastor Sauni Jr. (11:00am) will take us through John 4, The account of Jesus meeting the woman at the well.
I trust that we will come to understand that God loves us, God knows us, and God has a fulfilling life plan for us. I encourage you to read John 4 in preparation.
We are Redeeming the Community through Service and Love. We are Building Generations serving our Community. Make sure to pick up your 50th ministry year calendar and special tote bag.

God Bless Everyone,
God is love and love is expressed through Jesus the Christ, the God-Man. What a great ministry weekend! The Redeemer is rocking the Redeemer.
Saturday nights Couple Event was a sell out and featured the smooth jazz sounds of the Gladstone High School Jazz Band, special love songs by church couples, and an inspiring and encouraging word from Dr. Kneeland Brown. A special thanks to all those who put this wonderful and impactful event together.
This past Sunday we discussed “The First Sign” and how signs lead us to belief and belief to life in His name. What a tremendous show of commitment to marriage with many couples married 20 years or more in attendance and over half of all in a committed relationship of marriage which is not obsolete at COTR.
This week we look forward to another eventful time of community and Christianity. Thursday we introduce Financial Peace University at 7:00pm which is an opportunity for us to learn about God honoring and debt reducing stewardship. Saturday features a new addition to the Pulse young adult ministry as they add a Saturday event. And, Sunday Rev. Elias Flores Sr. (9:15) and Pastor George Sanchez (11:00am) will take us through John 3, Jesus the Master Teacher. It’s all about love, For God so loved…. Following the 2nd service (English) we will be hosting a group leaders lunch meeting for the leader and top assistant or spouse of our ministries. Please inform the office of your attendance. We are Redeeming the Community through Service and Love. We are Building Generations serving our Community. Make sure to pick up your 50th ministry year calendar.

Hello Everyone,
God is good and allows us to serve Him, serve others, and serve together. What a great ministry weekend!
This past Thursday we began a new era of women’s ministry with Connect. It was great to hear the report of the positive interaction and relational growth that took place.
In addition, throughout the week we were able to distribute 17 additional boxes of food apart from our normal monthly distribution.
Also, we sent a team to Mexicali, Mexico led by Pastor Mike Duran.
Lastly, Sunday services brought us together in the worship of the Lord, the proclamation of the Word, the breaking of bread, through the beginning of our new series A Journey with Jesus through the book of John and holy communion. All on super Sunday as we addressed the Super Gospel about the Superman.
I believe God is allowing us an opportunity to serve together, Redeeming the Community through Service and Love. This week we look forward to a powerful ministry week including our Couples Event on Saturday. We are Building Generations Serving our Community.

Hello Everyone, What a great ministry weekend!
This past Sunday we were blessed by soloist Ronnie Velasquez as part of our Legacy 50th anniversary guest ministers and articulated the importance of the Breaking of Bread as a community as the last cornerstone of the Christian Church.
